In order to collect empirical evidence-based policy recommendations in order to support the strengthening of the financial services sector, supporting activities are needed in the form of a call for papers from the general public and academics as a means of enriching scientific studies on issues, problems, and current developments in the economic and financial services sector.

The implementation of the call for papers activity has been organized by OJKI since 2021 and is routinely carried out as an annual OJKI agenda which is hereinafter referred to as "Scientific Research Work" or abbreviated as "Karisma OJKI".

The theme carried out at the 2023 Karisma OJKI activity is "Strengthening Financial Innovation to Improve Public Welfare: The Role of the Financial Industry".
